Poignant Remembrance Day service in Portsmouth today

Portsmouth stopped still in silence today to mark those who have fallen in wars across the world. Crowds gathered in Guildhall Square to pay their respects to all those who have served in conflicts across the globe.

Hundreds of people made their way to the square where the crowds stood in sombre reflection remembering all those who fought and died for their country. This year parade was led by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood and the Salvation Army Portsmouth Citadel Band.

A gun from HMS Nelson was fired at 11am to start the two-minute silence.

Community leaders, representatives of the armed forces, and faith leaders all joined the service and laid wreaths for those who died.

Dog Owners Beware!!!

Everyone that has animals check the inside top of their mouths. 

The Asian beetles look like ladybirds. They get in their mouth and they stick themselves to the mouth. 

 Makes dog's mouth very sore.

And this kids is why us parents tell you not to leave your phone/iPod charging underneath your pillow. Chloe ,Eve and Fergie you are al very lucky girls that this didn't end up serious or worse end up killing yourselves and the rest of your family in your stupidity. 

I have told you time and time again never to have your phone/iPod left charging under your pillow as the heat from the charge can't escape. Now look what's happened and you showed no remorse or emotion this morning at the consequences of what could have happened. 

Well as of today I no longer trust you as a 16 year old girl but will treat you as a 5 year old child. All electrical items have been removed from your bedroom and you wish to use your hair dryer or straighteners or curlers you ask permission and return after use. 

Your bedroom is no longer your doss hole it's a place to sleep and get changed. You will sit downstairs with the rest of your family and interact with us. 

Just count your blessings that we are still alive for me to do this to you and punish you for your irresponsible behavior. Things could have been a whole lot different come this morning!!!

Stranger Danger!

This random male has just gone to the front door and shouted racial and sexual abuse at woman including sexual hand gestures! Anyone living in the West End area of Southampton please be aware and be cautious. Police have been notified and are aware.

May I ask that you share this and raise awareness, this sort of behaviour is not acceptable. This is a street full of families and children, let's stand united and stop this from happening to anyone else!!!
